This subdirectory contains pre-built LAPACK libraries
      (version 3.0 + UPDATE) for various architectures.

      NOTE:  These LAPACK archives do not contain the BLAS.
      ****
             If you do not have an optimized BLAS library already
             available, you can download a pre-built reference
             implementation Fortran 77 BLAS library from:
               http://www.netlib.org/blas/archives/
             or download the source code:
               http://www.netlib.org/blas/blas.tgz

             The LAPACK source code can be obtained from:
               http://www.netlib.org/lapack/lapack.tgz
